  Crawford Lake to Rattlesnake Point, Milton T oday we started and ended our hike at Rattlesnake Point. Parking is definitely an issue in the Halton Region. There are few access points with parking, and reservations are required at most. We woke up Sunday morning and were unable to secure an online reservation at either of the parking lots in the area we intended to hike. The lot on Steeles, where we planned to park, was closed. We decided to risk it and see if the gate person would let us pass. We were in luck and he let us enter for the standard $22 cash payment (no debit/credit accepted at gate). Don't count on being able to enter without a reservation...I'm very persuasive. Parking at Rattlesnake Point We parked our car at the upper lot.   Twiss Road to Crawford Lake, Milton Today we decided to hike in and out from Twiss Road to Crawford Lake, Milton. We've been finding that there are less parking options in this section of the Bruce without about 5-6 kms in between each one. We usually like to do sections of about 8kms in length but the lack of parking along the trail doesn't really allow for much choice.  The trail head is only about 50 metres from the roadside parking on Twiss road.  The first two kilometres of the trial winds in and amongst boulders.  There is a cave that you can walk through.    Entrance to cave Exit from cave Rock Stairs with trail marker seen at the top The trail here was a little difficult to spot as the marker couldn't be seen until we climbed to the top of the rock face.
